EVALUATION 3: AUDIENCE FEEDBACK

What have you learned from audience feedback?
Through the use of audience feedback we were able to receive constructive criticism and advice from the target audience (13/25 male and female) which would improve our music video and auxillary products. We put our music video on YouTube so it could be rated in the mordern critic of a 'Like' and 'Dislike'. We also used Facebook, where the viewers can  comment below the video. For specific detailed feedback, we decided to ask four people from our target audience so that we could act upon this feedback before the final product of our work was presented.

A piece of feedback we did recieve was on the band performance shot in the music video. In the first shot of the scene the band members were far apart and separated making them look isolated, this coupled with a plain white background was boring and didnt compliement the theme of the music video. We added colour lighting to the backdrop of the stage performance to make it more exciting and visually interesting to watch rather than a blank canvis. We changed the choreography of the band members too so along with using multiple angles for the shot instead of the original one.

We recieved constructive feedback for our magazine advert from our peers in class. First of all it was decided that it would be more proffesional if we had a date for the release of the album in the advert instead of a 'Out NOW' caption. We changed the bottom image of the band slightly because as scene in the image (left) the first draft the band is more serious but with the second draft we went for a more playful image keeping continunity of the themes surrounding the band and music video. On Adobe Photosop we also through feedback edited the contrast of the image to a more flourescent colour texture as you can see in the images.
